Burroughs Wellcome Fund Career Awards at the Scientific Interface (CASI)

The Burroughs Wellcome Fund Career Awards at the Scientific Interface (CASI) is a funded fellowship for early career interdisciplinary researchers who transition or aim to transition their expertise in physical, mathematical, computational sciences or engineering into postdoctoral work in the biological sciences, with the goal of pursuing an academic research career. Recipients are provided with financial support to bridge postdoctoral training into the first years of a faculty position.

Financial support of $500,000 over five years to support transition from postdoctoral work to an early faculty position.

Early career interdisciplinary researchers who have transitioned or aim to transition into biological sciences for postdoctoral work and an academic research career.
