ERC Consolidator Grant

The ERC Consolidator Grant is a competitive research grant that supports promising researchers to strengthen their scientific independence. It targets researchers whose PhD was awarded seven to twelve years earlier. Grants provide significant funding to carry out a research project over multiple years; recipients at the Max‑Planck‑Gesellschaft in 2024 received awards of up to two million euros for five years.

Researchers whose doctorate was awarded seven to twelve years prior are eligible.
