Bread Loaf Writers' Conference

The Bread Loaf Writers' Conference is an annual ten-day residential writers' conference held on Middlebury College’s Bread Loaf campus. It brings emerging writers together to participate in workshops in fiction, poetry, and nonfiction, meet with faculty mentors, attend lectures and readings, and meet visiting editors, agents, and publishers. Workshops are limited in size and include individual meetings with faculty and group sessions. Financial aid is available for both published and unpublished writers.
