Information

The Paris-Frankfurt Fellowship is a three-week exchange programme for young professionals in the book trade and publishing from Germany and France. The programme includes a language preparation seminar in Frankfurt, a study stay in Germany with visits to publishers, distribution centres and bookshops, and a similar stay in France. It aims to facilitate professional exchange, sectoral knowledge of the partner country and networking across the two countries.

Benefits

€450 stipend for the programme; accommodation covered; travel costs subsidized on a lump-sum basis; visits to publishers, distribution centres and bookshops; professional networking opportunities.

Eligibility

Applicants must be under 36 years old at the start of the programme, have completed vocational training or a university degree, be resident in Germany or France, be available for the full programme period (mid-June to early July), and have at least B1 proficiency in the partner language. Participants must arrange sufficient insurance.

Application

Complete the online application form by 16 March and upload a CV, a motivation letter, a recommendation letter and an employer confirmation of consent or an unemployment certificate.
