Women Technology and Innovation Programme 2025

Proposals are invited by the Technology Innovation Agency for technology-based solutions addressing challenges faced by women, with grants up to R200,000. The initiative aims to support locally developed technology solutions addressing women’s needs such as maternal health, sanitary health, gender-based violence, and reproductive health, and to promote participation of women in technology and innovation in South Africa.

Funding up to R200,000 for technology-based solutions; explicit focus on women-led or women-serving innovations.

Be a South African citizen or Permanent Resident. Company registered and domiciled in South Africa. Applicants with innovative and locally developed technology solutions requiring early-stage derisking, demonstration or support for market uptake. Only women are eligible to apply.
