The Museums Assistance Program (MAP) provides financial support to Canadian museums and related institutions to preserve and present heritage collections. It supports professional knowledge, skills and practices related to key museum functions, and fosters preservation of Indigenous culture and access to heritage collections. The program delivers funding through multiple components, including Indigenous Heritage, Access to Heritage, Exhibition Circulation Fund, Collections Management, Canada-France Agreement, and Digital Access to Heritage.
