The Future of Mining Challenge is a Dragon Den–style competition where university teams develop and present solutions to mining industry challenges. The event brings together students from multiple disciplines to address real-world problems and demonstrate cross-disciplinary collaboration. Teams are mentored by industry professionals and present their ideas to a panel of judges.

Benefits

Mentorship from industry professionals and exposure to mining sector leaders; experience presenting to a judging panel and peer recognition.

Eligibility

University students from diverse backgrounds participated in the event, including engineering, geology, commerce/economics, and arts.
