Stories/Short Stories Competition on Science Themes “Oh Captain! My Captain! The Adventure of Researchers Begins”

A literary competition for short stories on scientific themes that aims to encourage young authors and develop their research, extrapolation and writing skills while raising awareness of European and global scientific and technological inventions. Participants must create a short story that includes a scientific discovery, phenomenon, theory, technological invention or innovation. Three winners are selected by an independent jury and are presented with certificates and cash prizes.

Certificate and cash prize for each of the top three winners; winners are awarded at the opening ceremony of European Researchers' Night on 27 November.

Young people aged 16–22 may participate.
