Peace Corps Georgia: Request a Volunteer (Education Program)

The Request a Volunteer (Education Program) enables public schools to apply to host a Peace Corps education volunteer to support English language and other school activities. Eligible schools submit a volunteer request form and host-family information to the Peace Corps Georgia office. The placement is intended to support collaboration between a school and a Peace Corps volunteer during specified academic years. Forms and informational materials are available from Peace Corps Georgia and regional education resource centers.

Public schools located in specified regions of Georgia with a minimum of 24 hours of English language instruction and willingness to host a volunteer for the 2020–2022 academic years may apply. Schools located within 5 km of administrative borders of excluded settlements are not considered.

Complete the volunteer request form with host-family information and submit it to the Peace Corps Georgia office by mail or email; forms are available at regional education resource centers, the Peace Corps Georgia office, or online.
