Information

The Georgia Youth Representative to the United Nations is a nationally selected young delegate who joins the country's official delegation at UN Headquarters in New York as a full member. The representative participates in the UN General Assembly Third Committee events and hearings, may speak at committee sessions, contributes to drafting youth-related resolutions, and can attend relevant ECOSOC Commission on Social Development meetings. The programme includes nationwide consultations and activities with youth prior to the UN mission.

Eligibility

Any citizen of Georgia aged 18 to 25 may apply by submitting required documents including a CV, an English-language action plan, and a 500-word English essay.

Application

Submit CV, an English action plan and a 500-word English essay; deliver one printed copy to the Ministry chancery (Dimitri Uznadze N52) and an electronic copy on compact disc by the stated deadline. Selection occurs in three stages: document review, English-language interview with a commission, and public speech at a ministry event.
