Information

The Youth Representative of Georgia to the United Nations is a competitively selected position in which a young Georgian serves as part of Georgia's official delegation to the UN General Assembly and related UN bodies. The representative participates in the Third Committee meetings, may take part in ECOSOC sessions, delivers speeches, and contributes to drafting youth-related resolutions. The programme is funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and includes nationwide consultations prior to deployment to UN Headquarters in New York.

Eligibility

Any citizen of Georgia aged 18 to 25 may participate; applicants must submit a CV, an action plan in English, and an English essay (max 500 words) on the given topic.

Application

Submit a printed copy to the Ministry's chancellery at Dimitri Uznadze N52 and an electronic copy on CD by the deadline; selection is three-stage: document review, an English interview with a commission, and a public English presentation.
