Information

The European Heritage Makers Week is a creative competition for children and young people to submit stories about cultural heritage. Participants aged 12 to 18 may publish their Georgian-language entries on the European Heritage Days portal. Five best national entries are forwarded to the Council of Europe, and a European panel selects up to ten winners who are invited to Strasbourg. The 2019 thematic focus is 'Art and Entertainment/Learning' and entries should reflect participants' views of tangible and intangible cultural heritage and its European connections.

Five best national works are sent to the Council of Europe; up to ten European winners are invited to Strasbourg (invitation in November 2019).

Eligibility

Children and young people aged 12 to 18; entries must be in Georgian and concern cultural heritage as seen by the participant.

Application

Submit a Georgian-language story about cultural heritage via the European Heritage Days portal and follow national guidelines; contact the national coordinator for details.
