The International Policy Ideas Challenge invites graduate students and post-doctoral researchers in Canada to submit brief policy proposals addressing international policy challenges. Winners receive a monetary award and coaching/mentoring to develop their proposals into full policy briefs, with a virtual Ideas Symposium for presenting their work. The program aims to translate academic expertise into policy insights relevant to Canada’s international policy landscape.

Eligibility
Applications are invited from current graduate students (Master’s or PhD) and post-doctoral fellows at Canadian post-secondary institutions, and researchers affiliated with Canadian non-profits within 6 years of graduation; Canadian citizens or permanent residents are eligible.
