Information

A call for proposals for the ninth International Policy Ideas Challenge (IPIC) inviting graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and researchers affiliated with eligible institutions to translate academic research into policy insights. Selected finalists will receive coaching and, if awarded, a financial prize upon presenting a final policy brief to Government of Canada officials in a virtual session in December 2026.

Eligibility

Current graduate students (Master’s or PhD) and post-doctoral fellows enrolled at a recognized Canadian or international post-secondary institution; researchers affiliated with a Canadian non-profit organization within 6 years of graduation; Canadian citizens or permanent residents;
