Open Doors Scholarship (Open Doors Olympiad)

The Open Doors Scholarship (Open Doors Olympiad) is a competitive international scholarship programme that awards fully funded places at a set of leading Russian public universities. It offers funded study at bachelor, master's, doctoral and postdoctoral levels and can include a free one-year Russian language preparatory course where required. Selection is based on a multi-stage competition including online tests and proctored exams.

Full tuition waiver, monthly stipend, free university dormitory (subject to availability), and a free one-year Russian language preparatory course if needed.

Open to applicants from all countries. Separate eligibility rules apply by study level: bachelor's applicants must hold or expect a secondary school certificate and be aged 16–23; master's applicants must hold or expect a bachelor's degree and be aged 20–33; doctoral applicants must hold or expect a master's degree and be aged 22–35; postdoctoral applicants must hold a doctoral degree and be aged 24–39. Applicants must not already hold the higher-level degree specified as an exclusion for each path.
