Information

The UN Chemicals and Waste Management Study Program 2026 is a fully funded scholarship offering for eligible young people, students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals to participate in a five-day program in Geneva, Switzerland, with additional youth engagement activities linked to the Global Framework on Chemicals conference. Selected participants gain exposure to UN chemicals and waste processes, participate in expert-led sessions and workshops, and may receive a UNITAR certificate of completion.

Eligibility

Be between 18 and 35 years old and from a LMIC, LDC, or SIDS, or be a representative of Indigenous Peoples. Participants must be available to travel to Geneva from 8 to 20 November 2026 and commit to the full program.
