Information

The Western Balkans Meet Japan 2027 is a fully funded youth exchange program designed for undergraduate and graduate students from Western Balkan countries to participate in a 7-day program in Japan focused on peacebuilding and cultural exchange. Participants will engage in academic and cultural activities, visit institutions, and develop personal and professional links with peers and host organisations. The event is jointly organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA) and the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO).

Eligibility

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or PhD program in a Western Balkan country and be at least 20 years old. Applicants should hold a passport from a WB6 country and have strong command of English.
