Boston University Presidential Scholarship

The Boston University Presidential Scholarship is a merit scholarship for first-year undergraduate students that recognizes exceptional academic achievement and leadership. It provides a half-tuition award each year and is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study, subject to good academic standing. The scholarship considers all complete first-year applications for admission by the stated deadline and recipients are notified with their admission decision. It is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and international students.

Apply for first-year admission to Boston University via the Common Application and ensure all supporting documents (transcripts, recommendations, any test scores if submitted, and the BU supplement) are received by 1 December. No separate scholarship application or essay is required; completed admission applications are automatically considered.
