Information

The IUCEA Master Study Scholarship funds a two-year master's degree for citizens of CARE partner states to study at partner universities in a CARE state other than their own. It covers tuition, travel, a monthly stipend, arrival allowance, study materials, research allowance, health insurance and visa costs, with a target of supporting up to 120 scholarships. The program aims to develop future leaders supporting regional integration and sustainable development.

Eligibility

Citizens of eight partner states of the CARE (Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda), under 35 years old, hold a bachelor’s degree with at least an upper second class, and apply to an eligible master's program at a partner university in a CARE state other than their own.

Application

Applicants must first apply for admission to an eligible master’s program at a participating university; the scholarship application is then considered for those admitted.
