IUCEA Master’s Scholarship 2026-2027

The IUCEA Master’s Scholarship is a fully funded two-year master's scholarship for nationals of East African Community (EAC) partner states to pursue approved master’s programs in an EAC partner country other than their own. It provides a comprehensive package including tuition, a monthly stipend, air travel, and study materials, with efforts to promote regional integration and development. Applicants must apply for admission to a participating master’s program at a partner university and meet eligibility criteria related to nationality, age, and academic achievement.

Full tuition fees; return economy air ticket; monthly stipend; study materials allowance; one-time study and research allowance; arrival allowance; medical insurance; visa/entry fee coverage; participation in at least one extracurricular event.

Citizens of one of the 8 EAC Partner States; must be below 35 years of age; hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division (or equivalent); must apply to a master’s program at an eligible host university in an EAC country other than their own.

Applicants must apply for admission to an eligible master’s program at a partner university and then submit the scholarship application as directed by IUCEA.
