Africa No Filter Voices for Climate Justice initiative 2026 for African storytellers

The Africa No Filter Voices for Climate Justice initiative is a 12-month programme that provides training, mentorship and grants to African storytellers to create content on climate justice, gender, debt and fossil fuels. Selected participants receive up to US$4,000 to develop and amplify their stories across platforms, with additional support in data storytelling and narrative framing.

Applicants must be individual storytellers (journalists, content creators, podcasters, vloggers, muralists, data visualizers) aged 18 and above, based in listed African countries, with an active platform and ability to share content over at least 6 months.

Submit an online application with a pitch deck (not more than 5 slides) or a video no longer than 60 seconds highlighting the storytelling idea; provide links to platforms and a short description of audience reach.
