Pulitzer Center Global South Civil Society Microgrants 2026

The Pulitzer Center Global South Civil Society Microgrants 2026 provides grants to civil society organizations and groups in Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia to support projects that use Pulitzer Center-supported reporting on climate and environment topics. Grants range from USD 2,000 to USD 4,000 to fund civic engagement activities, reporting, and related project work.

Open to grassroots organizations, community educators, civil society organizations and coalitions, youth movements, and other groups working at the intersection of journalism, civic rights, and active citizenship.

Submit a proposal including project description (no more than 400 words), target audience and impact, strategy, timeline and budget, CV of the lead applicant, and a recommendation letter.
