Creative Catalyst Fellowship 2027

The Creative Catalyst Fellowship 2027 is a funded fellowship for independent artists working on projects centered on Belonging and community, with a focus on Asian American and Pacific Islander experiences. Up to eight artists will each receive $30,000 to produce work across visual art, digital/media, written/narrative forms, or interdisciplinary public-engagement projects. The fellowship supports an individual artist’s practice and aims to enable broader dissemination and conversation around the year’s theme.

Applicants must be 18 years or older; there is no U.S. citizenship requirement, and selected fellows must provide appropriate tax forms. Applicants should propose artist-led work connected with AAPI communities and capable of being portable and reproducible.
