Ashinaga Africa Initiative Scholarship

The Ashinaga Africa Initiative Scholarship is a fully funded programme that provides support for African students to pursue bachelor's or master's degrees, with the aim of developing leaders who will contribute to sub-Saharan Africa. Eligible applicants include students who have lost one or both parents, meet age and academic criteria, and are fluent in French. The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, travel and other necessary expenses for study in France or other eligible locations.

Full financial support for tuition, accommodation, travel and other necessary expenses; access to two preparatory programs and a pathway to university admission.

Applicants are Francophone African students who have lost a parent or both, are under 23 for bachelor’s applications and under 25 for master’s applications, have completed secondary education, rank highly in their studies, lack financial means, speak French fluently, and are able to participate in pre-admission preparatory programs.
