University of Waikato Doctoral Scholarship

The University of Waikato Doctoral Scholarship is a fully funded programme for doctoral candidates, providing financial support for up to three years and covering tuition and associated fees. It is available to high-achieving applicants applying for admission to an approved doctoral qualification at the University of Waikato. Applications are considered in four rounds each year and require an Offer of Place before review.

Stipend of up to NZD 33,000 per year for up to 36 months; full coverage of domestic tuition fees; coverage of Student Services Fee

Applicants must be enrolled or intending to enrol in a doctoral programme at the University of Waikato, demonstrate academic excellence and research potential, and hold an Offer of Place before scholarship consideration.
