MFWA Story Production Grants 2025

The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) invites journalists in Benin, Ghana, Nigeria and Togo to apply for story grants to produce in-depth and impactful stories on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and Digital Public Goods and Services. Grants are part of the second phase of MFWA's DPI Journalism Fellowship and provide funding to support individual story production.

Grant funding to support story production (approximately USD 300 per story on average).

Applicant must be a journalist working in one of the four project countries (Benin, Ghana, Nigeria or Togo) with a DPI/DPGs story idea and a track record of producing impactful stories; must have a letter of support from their media house.
