The Mercatus Center at George Mason University offers the Emergent Ventures Africa & the Caribbean program, a funding track designed to support ambitious individuals with ideas and projects capable of creating meaningful and scalable change across Africa and the Caribbean. The program seeks unconventional, practical, and scalable ideas across various fields, including technology, entrepreneurship, education, science, data and artificial intelligence, and health. Selected participants may receive financial support for their project or idea, access to mentorship, and a network of experts to help develop and implement their plans.
