ERC Starting Grant

The ERC Starting Grant is a competitive research grant awarded to promising early-career researchers to develop their research projects and build up research groups. Grants are awarded on the basis of scientific excellence through a peer-review process. Successful applicants receive substantial project funding to carry out independent research at a host institution in Europe.
