ASEA-UNINET Ernst Mach Scholarship 2027

The ASEA-UNINET Ernst Mach Scholarship 2027 offers funded opportunities for international researchers and students to pursue PhD studies in Austria, undertake postdoctoral research stays, or engage in music practice studies at ASEA-UNINET member universities in Austria. The scholarship is available to nationals from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. It is administered by OeAD in collaboration with ASEA-UNINET and provides pathways including a 36-month Full PhD, a 4–6-month postdoctoral grant, and a nine-month Music Practice award.

Monthly stipend and mobility allowance; tuition waivers for some tracks; opportunity to pursue PhD in Austria, postdoctoral research stays, or Music Practice award.

Postgraduate applicants from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam for PhD studies in Austria, postdoctoral research stays, or music practice projects.

Apply through the Austrian OeAD grants system via the ASEA-UNINET pathway, after securing appropriate supervision and institutional acceptance.
