The Václav Havel Human Rights Prize is a €60,000 prize awarded to individuals or non-governmental institutions active in defending human rights in Europe and beyond. The prize includes a trophy and a diploma and is awarded in October 2026 in Strasbourg. The prize is offered by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in partnership with the Václav Havel Library and the Charta 77 Foundation.
