NWO-Talentprogramma Vici ENW 2025

The NWO-Talentprogramma Vici is a competitive research fellowship intended for senior researchers to consolidate and further develop their leadership and research groups. It supports researchers across the exact sciences and related disciplines within the ENW domain. The grant aims to contribute to the development of the researcher and their research programme. The maximum grant amount is 1.5 million euro.

Research grant funding (up to 1.5 million euro) to support the applicant's research programme and group development.

Senior researchers who obtained their PhD within the fifteen years prior to the reference date of 1 March 2025; candidates should demonstrate established leadership and mentoring qualities. Extensions to the PhD time limit may be granted in specific cases.

Applicants submit a pre-proposal via the ISAAC electronic system; shortlisted candidates are invited to submit a full proposal via ISAAC. Proposals are assessed by domain-wide committees and external referees.
