The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program is a fully funded scholarship for Indonesian high school students to spend a full academic year in the United States living with a host family and attending a U.S. high school, with leadership development and cultural exchange components.

Benefits

Visa support, travel to the U.S., host family placement, school enrollment, orientation programs, cultural enrichment activities, health insurance, and a monthly stipend.

Eligibility

Open to Indonesian high school students who are in grade 10, currently studying in Indonesia, and who meet visa and selection requirements; applicants must be active and achieve strong academic and extracurricular records, with parental and school approval.

Application

Submit an application through the national coordinating organization (Bina Antarbudaya) and follow the selection process conducted by the organizing bodies.
