UBC Centre for Migration Studies Research Conference 2025

The UBC Centre for Migration Studies invites proposals for the 2025 CMS Research Conference, to be held May 1-2, 2025 at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. The theme is Migration, Mobilities, and Changing Political Landscapes, and the conference includes panel presentations, a keynote documentary screening with filmmaker discussion, and a roundtable on scholarly professional development. Successful applicants may receive travel support and on-campus accommodations.

Travel support of $500 for eligible UBCO affiliates and 2 nights of on-campus accommodations.

Applicants must be CMS affiliates who are faculty, postdoctoral fellows, or current graduate students, and must be affiliated with CMS.

Applications must be submitted via the online form, including a 300-word abstract related to migration, mobilities, and/or belonging.
