Visiting Student Program at KFUPM

The Visiting Student Program is an exchange opportunity for Saudi undergraduate students to study one full semester at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), with credit hours transferred back to their home university. It includes an integrated package of academic and living benefits to support the participant during the stay. The program provides access to KFUPM’s research environment and facilities, and requires students to enroll as regular full-time students in their majors for the duration of the exchange.

Tuition waiver, monthly stipend, university housing, free textbook access, medical and meal services, KFUPM student ID and access to Blackboard for coursework, and opportunities for research collaboration.

Applicants must be Saudi nationals or have a Saudi mother, be enrolled as full-time undergraduates at a Saudi university, have completed at least the first academic year, hold a minimum GPA of 3.75/4.00 or 4.75/5.00 in their major, meet English language requirements (STEP 80, TOEFL iBT 60, or IELTS 5.5), provide an official approval letter from their home university specifying permitted courses, and meet any prerequisite/course requirements for the intended subjects.

Applications are submitted through KFUPM’s official online admissions portal; required documents include national ID, official transcript, proof of continued enrollment at the home university, and proof of English language proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL/STEP).
