Commonwealth Masters Scholarship 2027

The Commonwealth Masters Scholarship is a fully funded master's degree opportunity for talented students from eligible Commonwealth countries to pursue full-time taught study in the United Kingdom. It is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). For the 2027/28 academic year, applications opened on September 8, 2026 and close at 16:00 BST on October 20, 2026; successful scholars are expected to begin their studies in September or October 2027.

Full tuition fees, approved return airfare, living allowance/stipend, study-related allowances, thesis/research support, and academic/professional development opportunities (varies by scheme).

Candidates from eligible Commonwealth countries who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK may apply for the fully funded Master’s degree.

Apply through the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission's online application system and follow HEC's nomination process; submit required documents including transcripts, HAT result (≥60/100), passport/ID, references and research proposal for PhD applicants.
