Information

PROMYS for Teachers is an intensive programme that engages secondary school teachers in mathematical problem solving to promote a culture of exploration in mathematics classrooms. It includes a six-week summer component held at Boston University and five academic-year workshops. The programme is non-residential and provides a supportive environment for teachers to participate as learners. Participants may earn college credit and, if qualifying and U.S.-based, receive a stipend.

Benefits

Free programme participation; qualifying U.S.-based teachers receive a $1,500 stipend; participants may earn 8 free college credits.

Eligibility

Open to secondary school teachers from the U.S. and abroad; pre-service and experienced teachers are welcome. The programme is non-residential and teachers are responsible for their own housing during the six-week program.
