Dalai Lama Fellows Program 2027

The Dalai Lama Fellows Program is a globally accessible fellowship for emerging social innovators addressing real problems in their communities. It provides a structured leadership development year with online components and aims to support projects addressing education, health and well-being, environmental sustainability, human rights, cultural understanding, and related areas. The fellowship includes components such as an online curriculum, coaching, group learning, and community-building activities for fellows.

Year-long online leadership curriculum; one-to-one coaching; small-group coaching and learning calls; monthly full-group sessions; contemplative practices; five-day leadership assembly; lifelong membership in the global fellows community.

Open to emerging social innovators worldwide who are actively involved in a social-change project or have a well-developed plan to launch one during the fellowship year.

Applications are submitted online through the Dalai Lama Fellows portal when the next call opens; the page outlines components such as background, essays, video, CV, and letters of recommendation and notes the portal will be updated for the 2027 cohort.
