Amelia Earhart Fellowship

The Amelia Earhart Fellowship supports women pursuing advanced research and doctoral-level studies in aerospace engineering and space sciences. It provides individual research funding to women who are enrolled in or pursuing a full-time Ph.D. or doctoral degree in an accredited institution. The fellowship honours aviator Amelia Earhart and has supported applicants from many countries since 1938. Recipients receive a monetary award to assist with their doctoral studies and research.

US$12,000 research award to support doctoral-level studies and research.

Open to women of any nationality who are pursuing a full-time Ph.D. or doctoral degree in aerospace engineering or space sciences, enrolled at an accredited university, who have completed at least one year of their doctoral programme or hold a master’s in an aerospace-applied field, and who will not graduate before April 2028.
