The UN FAO Global AgriInno Challenge (GAC) 2026 invites agripreneurs, startups, researchers, and innovation teams to develop solutions for more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient agrifood systems. The 2026 edition focuses on Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and seeks digital solutions across four pillars: Better Production, Better Nutrition, Better Environment, and Better Life. Benefits include travel packages, expert coaching, mentoring, and potential seed funding for top winners.

Eligibility

Applications are open to agripreneurs and innovation teams worldwide; applicants must be registered as a company or legal entity, with team members under 35 years old, and operate with a technology-based solution or business model at TRL 7-9.

Submit an application through the FAO/STI portal; final submissions are evaluated for team readiness and potential impact; applicants can apply as one team per submission
