Information

The Teach for Uganda STEM Fellowship 2026 is a one-year, fully funded postgraduate diploma in Education (PGDE) for graduates with STEM backgrounds. Fellows are placed in secondary schools in Uganda to become teachers, mentors, and role models, with a focus on supporting girls and promoting education equity. Fellows receive a monthly stipend and leadership development as part of the Leaders in Teaching Programme through a consortium of education partners supported by the Mastercard Foundation.

Eligibility

Female Ugandan citizens or refugees residing in Uganda; holder of a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0; aged 22-27; proficient in English; willing to undertake a 1-year, fully-funded PGDE in Education.
