Information

The African Female Artist Mentorship Program (AFAMP) provides one-on-one mentoring for emerging African female artists to develop their artistic practice and professional ambitions. The program selects mentees based on commitment, clearly defined goals, and potential to benefit from mentorship. It is designed to support individual artistic development through access to experienced mentors in a focused, long-term setting.

Eligibility

Mentees must be female artists in the early stages of their professional career, aged 19-40, and African.

Application

Submit an application package including a letter of application, 10 JPEG images or 10 short videos with an annotated list, one letter of reference, and a website or CV. Email the application by October 30, 2026 to gcaf@girlchildart.org.
