The 1834 Global Fellowship is a nine-week fellowship program designed for high-potential Black Canadians aged 20–30 who aspire to leadership roles in global civic and international affairs. It offers expert mentorship, virtual mixers, and real-world policy research with leading international organizations, culminating in a capstone Summit with policymakers and leaders in global policy. The program aims to develop research, leadership, and professional skills for careers in diplomacy, policy analysis, and international development.

Eligibility
Eligible candidates are Black Canadians aged 20–30 who are citizens or permanent residents and are interested in a career in international development, diplomacy, or Canadian foreign policy; willing to participate in a nine-week virtual program and travel for the final in-person Summit.

Submit an online application through the 1834 Foundation system, including a personal statement, two letters of reference, and a resume. Letters may be sent to the provided email address; all materials are treated confidentially.
