RJ 'Gus' Wiles Chemical Engineering Scholarship for Overseas Study

The RJ 'Gus' Wiles Chemical Engineering Scholarship for Overseas Study is a scholarship administered from the Robert 'Gus' Wiles Scholarship Endowment Fund. It supports students in approved chemical engineering programs at the University of Queensland to undertake an overseas exchange semester. The scholarship targets students demonstrating academic achievement and financial hardship.

Financial award of at least $5,000 (limited to annual income from the endowment) to support one overseas exchange semester.

Applicants must be domestic students enrolled in an approved engineering program (Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Master of Engineering dual program), have completed at least 16 units, hold a cumulative GPA of at least 5.0, have University approval to undertake an overseas exchange semester in Semester 1, 2027, and be able to demonstrate financial hardship.
