Amgen Machine Learning Engineer Intern (Undergrad) — Summer 2027

The Amgen Machine Learning Engineer Intern (Undergrad) is a full-time paid summer internship for undergraduate students within Amgen's Technology, AI & Data team. Interns work on scalable data pipelines, data cleaning and analysis, model training/evaluation and deployment, and building visualizations for stakeholders. The position is remote within the United States and paid at an hourly rate. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the cohort is filled.

$28.87 per hour pay; practical experience in MLOps, data pipelines, model training/evaluation and exposure to pharmaceutical datasets

Applicants must be 18+ and currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's program with a 3.0+ GPA, have completed at least one year of study before the internship starts and remain enrolled after; must be located in the United States for the duration and authorized to work in the U.S.
