Global Futures Scholarship

The Global Futures Scholarship is a merit-based award offered by The University of Manchester for international fee-paying students from specified South Asian countries. It provides tuition fee discounts and multi-year support for eligible full-time undergraduate programmes and awards for eligible master’s students starting in September 2027. The university is offering more than 350 awards, including partnered awards such as the GREAT Scholarship and British Council Women in STEM scholarships for South Asia.

Tuition fee discounts (specified values: £12,000 per year for certain undergraduate years; £12,000 for master’s awards; GREAT award £15,000; selected fully funded Women in STEM master’s scholarships). Multi-year continuation for eligible undergraduate programmes conditional on academic attainment.

Applications are considered from international fee-paying students domiciled in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka who have predominantly lived there during the last three years. Applicants must be self-funded (not sponsored) and applying for direct first-year entry in 2027 for undergraduate (holding or working towards A-level, IB Diploma or equivalent Indian Standard XII) or hold a conditional/unconditional offer for full-time on-campus master’s study starting September 2027 as specified.

Apply for an eligible full-time course and receive an academic offer; the online scholarship application form will be emailed to eligible offer-holders. The scholarship application form must be submitted online by 2027-03-30. For undergraduate applicants, select Manchester as Firm UCAS choice by 2027-05-15 as required.
