TradeRoots Africa-ICC Programme 2026/2027

The TradeRoots Africa-ICC Programme is a capacity-building initiative for export-ready African SMEs. It is organized by the ICC Centre of Entrepreneurship and aims to develop a cohort of businesses across Africa through structured modules on business development, trade knowledge and market access, trade finance, logistics, digital tools, and mentorship. The programme targets SMEs that are majority African-owned, legally registered in an AfCFTA State Party, with at least 24 months of trading history and a minimum annual turnover, and that have a product or service ready to export.

The programme seeks a balanced cohort of emerging SMEs, growth-stage businesses and established SMEs that meet criteria: majority African-owned, registered and operating in an AfCFTA State Party, trading for at least 24 months, minimum annual turnover above USD 5,000, and a product or service ready to export.
