The Reporting Grants Namibia programme offers financial support for reporting and research projects focused on environmental journalism, including the green transformation, extractive industries, energy projects and environmental policies in Namibia. Grants are awarded to journalists, content creators, media professionals, media organisations, researchers and civil society organisations to conduct investigative research, gather data and produce high-quality multimedia content. Projects should aim to contribute to informed public dialogue by providing factual background and diverse perspectives. The activity is implemented by DW Akademie as part of the EU-funded Eco Dialogue Collective project.
Benefits
Financial grants to support investigative and reporting projects, including desk and field research, data gathering and production of multimedia content (articles, documentaries, data visualisations, podcasts, social media content).
Eligibility
Namibian journalists, content creators, media professionals, media organisations, researchers and civil society organisations may apply.
Application
