The PAIE Scholars Program 2026 is a fellowship and training program for researchers in Asia and Africa to develop and lead rigorous, policy-relevant evaluations of AI-enabled interventions for social good and poverty reduction. Selected scholars receive structured training in randomized evaluation, a US$1,000 completion award, and access to research mentorship and competitive pilot funding up to US$75,000.

Eligibility
Applicants must be resident researchers based in a low- or middle-income country in Asia or Africa and have completed a PhD in economics or another relevant empirical discipline, with primary affiliation to a university in an eligible country, and strong quantitative-methods training.
