Call for Applications: Financial Data Analysts/Financial Experts to Produce Analytical Reports for Accountability Journalism

The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), with support from DANIDA through Oxfam in Ghana, is seeking three qualified fiscal data analysts/financial experts to identify and interpret complex fiscal information and provide analytical reports to support investigative journalism in Ghana. The analysts will produce concise, accessible briefs analyzing government financial data, budgets, procurement, debt, and public accounts with an emphasis on red flags and entry points for public-interest reporting. The work aims to strengthen fiscal oversight and accountability reporting within West Africa as part of the Strategic Partnership Initiative for Ghana and West Africa.

An advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Public Financial Management, Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, with substantial professional experience.
