IKY Scholarships for Postgraduate Studies (Subproject 1)

The IKY Scholarships for Postgraduate Studies is a national scholarship programme awarding 350 scholarships for participation in full-time on-campus master's programmes at Greek higher education institutions. Scholarships provide a monthly allowance of €700 for up to 18 months. The action targets graduates enrolled in master’s programmes that started in the 2025–2026 academic year and is co-financed by Greece and the European Union under the Human Resources and Social Cohesion Operational Programme 2021–2027.

Applicants must have a Greek tax identification number (AFM), hold a degree from a Greek HEI or an equivalent foreign qualification with a grade of at least 6.50, not hold another postgraduate degree, be enrolled in a full-time on-campus master’s programme from the start of the 2025–2026 academic year, not receive another scholarship for the same purpose, meet per-capita income ≤ €16,000 (tax year 2024), and men must have fulfilled military obligations or have an adequate deferment/exemption.

Applications submitted exclusively online via the IKY application platform in Greek; one finalised submission allowed and serves as a declaration of truthfulness.
